What is it all about?
Whether it is a diagnosed condition such as Autism, Selective Mutism or a young person displaying issues with receptive and expressive language skills, there are many children and young people with communication difficulties.
Many of us are becoming aware of Autism and Social Communication difficulties. For those that don’t understand however, the ways which children with these conditions communicate and react to social situations can be confusing. A lack of understanding can lead to fear, disrespect and animosity towards these young people.
This workshop examines ways in which peers can be taught about Autism to encourage collaborative and solution focused attitudes to these differences.
“Very interesting session! Thanks a lot for sharing your resources”
In response to client feedback we are now coming out to various locations across Norfolk and Suffolk to deliver a combination of tailored workshops to whole schools or clusters. If you are interested in hosting one of these events, please do not hesitate to contact us for further information.
